Mud

Some words about mud while observing on playground duty:

Our playground is a muddy mess.
Winter has said goodbye and made way for it's more annoying rainy, wet cousin; spring.
Some embrace the slippery squishiness, as happy as pigs in mud.
Others seem anxious and even afraid of it as they gingerly tiptoe through.
Every child is different.

  6. Try thinking of it as a scene from Pepa Pig. Your description of the kids reaction was spot on!!

  7. Oh man. And then they track it all into the classroom! But they sure look like they are having fun, though!
